Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent degree
  • 1-2 years prior retail experience in an apparel or specialty store environment
  • prior sewing experience required, preferably in bridal or special occasion production environment
  • prior experience with computerized POS system is a plus

Job Duties

  • Welcome all customers with genuine and friendly enthusiasm over the phone, virtual chats, and in person
  • use all systems to manage the customer flow to deliver five-star customer experience
  • maintain all service levels by being prepared, welcoming, meet the needs, and be there for all customers
  • provide an exceptional service experience to multiple customers simultaneously
  • proactively address customer concerns with confidence and escalate when necessary
  • communicate alteration options and promote all alteration services and personalization
  • assist stylists in consulting customers on gown fit and customization
  • maintain store standards to support a flawless shopping experience
  • ensure a high standard of dress compliance with dress code policy
  • greet and escort all alterations customers to and from appointments
  • perform quality control inspections on all garments
  • respond promptly to customer inquiries
  • build long-term customer relationships
  • manage inventory by processing special orders and ensuring quality standards
  • maintain alteration pricing at company standards
  • manage all alterations, fittings, sewing, steaming, pressing, and spot cleaning
  • resolve customer service issues swiftly
  • support cash wrap behaviors and transaction accuracy
  • keep the alterations room clean and organized
  • perform duties as assigned by store management
