Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent degree
  • 1-2 years prior retail experience in apparel or specialty store environment
  • Prior sewing experience required, preferably in bridal and special occasion production environment
  • Prior experience with computerized POS system is a plus
  • Ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, kneel and lift up to 10 pounds
  • Manual dexterity to perform sewing and alteration tasks
  • Ability to see up close and at a distance
  • Excellent communication and phone skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Welcome customers with friendly enthusiasm over the phone, virtual chats and in person
  • Use systems to manage customer flow for five-star experience
  • Maintain service levels by being prepared, welcoming and meeting customers' needs
  • Provide exceptional service to multiple customers simultaneously
  • Address customer concerns confidently and escalate when necessary
  • Promote alteration services and personalization options
  • Assist stylists with sales by consulting on gown fit and customization
  • Maintain store standards to support flawless shopping experience
  • Greet and escort alterations customers to appointments
  • Inspect all garments for quality control before delivery
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries with product and service information
  • Build long-term customer relationships to increase satisfaction and loyalty
  • Manage inventory by processing special orders and pickups
  • Ensure alteration pricing meets company standards
  • Manage all alterations, fittings, sewing, steaming, pressing and spot cleaning to company standards
  • Resolve customer service issues swiftly and effectively
  • Support cash wrap behaviors and process transactions accurately
  • Maintain a clean and organized alterations room
  • Perform duties assigned by store management
