Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent degree
  • 1-2 years prior retail experience in an apparel or specialty store environment
  • Prior sewing experience required, preferably in bridal and/or special occasion production environment
  • Knowledge of computerized POS (Point of Sale) systems is a plus
  • Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform manual tasks for extended periods
  • Capability to lift and move up to 10 pounds
  • Manual dexterity for sewing and handling garments
  • Commitment to maintaining company dress code

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Welcome all customers with genuine, and friendly enthusiasm over the phone, virtual chats and in person
  • Use all systems to manage the customer flow to deliver five-star customer experience
  • Maintain all service levels by being Prepared, Welcoming, Meet the Needs & Be There for all our customers, including all operational checklist tasks
  • Provide exceptional service experience to multiple customers at one time
  • Proactively address customer concerns with confidence and escalate when necessary
  • Communicate alteration benefits for perfecting the dress fit and promote personalization options
  • Assist stylists in closing sales by consulting customers on gown fit and customization
  • Maintain store standards to support a flawless shopping experience
  • Greet and escort customers to and from alterations appointments
  • Inspect all garments altered, steamed, or pressed to verify pristine condition
  • Respond promptly to customer questions with product and service information
  • Build long-term relationships to exceed customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Manage inventory by processing special order pickups and ensure merchandise quality
  • Ensure alteration pricing complies with company standards
  • Manage all sewing, fittings, steaming, pressing, and spot cleaning of garments to company standards
  • Resolve customer service issues swiftly and in compliance with guidelines
  • Support cash wrap behaviors and process transactions accurately
  • Maintain a clean and organized alterations room
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by store management
