Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent degree
- 1-2 years prior retail experience in an apparel or specialty store environment
- Prior sewing experience required, preferably in bridal and/or special occasion production environment
- Knowledge of computerized POS (Point of Sale) systems is a plus
- Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform manual tasks for extended periods
- Capability to lift and move up to 10 pounds
- Manual dexterity for sewing and handling garments
- Commitment to maintaining company dress code
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Welcome all customers with genuine, and friendly enthusiasm over the phone, virtual chats and in person
- Use all systems to manage the customer flow to deliver five-star customer experience
- Maintain all service levels by being Prepared, Welcoming, Meet the Needs & Be There for all our customers, including all operational checklist tasks
- Provide exceptional service experience to multiple customers at one time
- Proactively address customer concerns with confidence and escalate when necessary
- Communicate alteration benefits for perfecting the dress fit and promote personalization options
- Assist stylists in closing sales by consulting customers on gown fit and customization
- Maintain store standards to support a flawless shopping experience
- Greet and escort customers to and from alterations appointments
- Inspect all garments altered, steamed, or pressed to verify pristine condition
- Respond promptly to customer questions with product and service information
- Build long-term relationships to exceed customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Manage inventory by processing special order pickups and ensure merchandise quality
- Ensure alteration pricing complies with company standards
- Manage all sewing, fittings, steaming, pressing, and spot cleaning of garments to company standards
- Resolve customer service issues swiftly and in compliance with guidelines
- Support cash wrap behaviors and process transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized alterations room
- Perform additional duties as assigned by store management
