Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years retail experience in apparel or specialty store environment
  • prior sewing experience is helpful
  • experience with computerized POS system
  • ability to stand, walk and sit for extended periods
  • manual dexterity for sewing and fitting tasks
  • ability to lift or move up to 10 pounds
  • ability to communicate clearly and handle customer interactions
  • availability for weekend work
  • commitment to maintaining high dress code standards

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years prior retail experience in an apparel or specialty store environment
  • prior sewing experience is helpful
  • prior experience with computerized POS system
  • excellent phone and communication skills
  • ability to multitask and handle multiple customers
  • strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills

Job Duties

  • Welcome all customers with genuine and friendly enthusiasm over the phone, virtual chats and in person
  • use all systems to manage the customer flow to deliver five-star customer experience
  • meet all service vows including prepare, welcome, meet needs and be there for all customers, including all operational checklist tasks
  • provide exceptional service experience to multiple customers simultaneously and contribute to five-star customer service achievement
  • communicate effectively about alteration services and personalization options
  • promote all alterations services and personalization options
  • maintain store-standards including cleanliness, organization, promotional readiness and store recovery
  • maintain high dress code standards
  • greet and escort all alterations customers for appointments
  • press, steam and spot clean all merchandise
  • follow quality control guidelines and inspect all garments to ensure pristine condition
  • build long-term relationships to exceed customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • support inventory management by processing special orders and pick-ups
  • support cash wrap behaviors and process transactions accurately
  • seek assistance from the Alterations Manager for unresolved customer issues
  • maintain a clean and organized alterations room
  • perform duties assigned by store management
