Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of retail experience in apparel or specialty stores
  • Prior sewing experience preferred
  • Experience with computerized POS systems
  • Ability to stand walk bend and perform manual tasks
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to use electronic devices and phones for extended periods

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent degree
  • 1-2 years prior retail experience in an apparel or specialty store environment
  • Prior sewing experience is helpful
  • Prior experience with computerized POS system
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage customer flow
  • Strong customer service orientation

Job Duties

  • Welcome all customers with genuine and friendly enthusiasm over the phone virtual chats and in person
  • Use all systems to manage the customer flow to deliver five-star customer experience
  • Meet all service vows including prepare welcome meet needs and be there for all customers
  • Provide an exceptional service experience to multiple customers at one time and contribute to store achievement of five-star customer service
  • Address customer concerns proactively with confidence and escalate when necessary
  • Communicate how alterations play an important role in perfecting the dress and promote personalization options
  • Maintain store standards such as cleanliness organization and promotional readiness
  • Greet and escort alterations customers to and from appointments
  • Press steam and spot clean all merchandise
  • Follow quality control guidelines and inspect all garments before final delivery
  • Build long-term relationships to meet and exceed customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Support inventory management by processing special orders pickups and first quality standards
  • Support all cash wrap behaviors and process transactions accurately
  • Seek assistance from Alterations Manager for unresolved customer issues
  • Maintain a clean and organized alterations room
  • Perform duties as assigned by store management
