Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent degree
  • 1-2 years retail experience in apparel or specialty store environment
  • Ability to communicate clearly and resolve customer issues
  • Ability to operate POS systems and handle cash transactions
  • Ability to perform duties such as steaming, pressing, and spot cleaning garments
  • Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods
  • Ability to lift or move up to 10 pounds
  • Manual dexterity to perform fittings and sewing tasks
  • Ability to maintain dress code standards
  • Strong customer service skills and problem-solving abilities

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent degree
  • 1-2 years prior retail experience in an apparel or specialty store environment
  • Prior sewing experience is helpful
  • Prior experience with computerized POS system

Job Duties

  • Welcome customers with genuine and friendly enthusiasm over the phone, virtual chats, and in person
  • Communicate clearly and concisely adapting style to suit customers by problem solving, excellent phone skills, and resolving conflict
  • Use all systems to manage the customer flow to deliver five-star customer experience
  • Meet all service vows including prepare, welcome, meet needs, and be there for all customers
  • Responsible for providing an exceptional service experience to multiple customers at one time and contribute to store achievement of five-star customer service
  • Proactively address customer concerns with confidence and escalate when necessary
  • Effectively communicate how alterations play an important role in perfecting the dress and promote all alterations services and personalization options
  • Maintain store standards including cleanliness, organization, promotional readiness, and store recovery
  • Greet and escort alterations customers to and from appointments
  • Press, steam, and spot clean all merchandise to quality control guidelines
  • Build long-term relationships to meet and exceed customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Support inventory management by processing special orders, pickups, and first quality standards
  • Process transactions accurately at cash wrap to ensure every customer feels celebrated
  • Seek assistance from the Alterations Manager when necessary
  • Maintain a clean and organized alterations room
  • Perform duties and tasks as assigned by store management
