Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years retail experience in apparel or specialty store
  • Prior sewing experience helpful
  • Experience with computerized POS system
  • Ability to stand, walk, kneel, and perform manual tasks
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple customer interactions simultaneously
  • Capacity to lift and move up to 10 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years prior retail experience in apparel or specialty store
  • Knowledge of computerized POS systems
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Basic sewing experience preferred
  • Ability to multitask and manage customer interactions
  • Conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities

Job Duties

  • Welcome customers with friendly enthusiasm over the phone, virtual chats, and in person
  • Use systems to manage customer flow delivering five-star service
  • Meet service vows including prepare, welcome, meet needs and be there
  • Provide exceptional service experience to multiple customers
  • Address customer concerns proactively and escalate when needed
  • Communicate alterations importance and promote services
  • Maintain store standards of cleanliness, organization and dress code
  • Greet and escort customers to and from appointments
  • Press, steam and spot clean merchandise
  • Inspect altered garments for quality control
  • Build long-term customer relationships
  • Support inventory by processing special orders and pick-ups
  • Process transactions accurately at cash wrap
  • Seek assistance from Alterations Manager when needed
  • Maintain a clean, organized alterations room
  • Perform duties assigned by store management
