Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent degree
  • 1-2 years prior retail experience in an apparel or specialty store environment
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit for extended periods
  • Ability to reach, stoop, kneel, crouch and bend
  • Capacity to lift and move up to 10 pounds
  • Manual dexterity for sewing and using POS systems
  • Ability to maintain high dress code standards
  • Ability to communicate effectively over phone, chat and in-person
  • Willingness to work in a dynamic retail environment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent degree
  • 1-2 years prior retail experience in an apparel or specialty store environment
  • Prior sewing experience is helpful
  • Prior experience with computerized POS system
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple customer interactions effectively

Job Duties

  • Welcome all customers with genuine, and friendly enthusiasm over the phone, virtual chats and in person
  • Use all systems to manage the customer flow to deliver five-star customer experience
  • Meet all service vows including Prepare, Welcome, Meet Needs & Be There for all customers
  • Provide exceptional service experience to multiple customers at one time and contribute to store achievement of Five-Star Customer Service
  • Effectively communicate how alterations can perfect the dress in partnership with Alterations
  • Promote all alterations services and personalization options
  • Maintain store standards including cleanliness, organization, promotional readiness, and store recovery
  • Maintain high dress code standards
  • Greet and escort alterations customers for appointments
  • Press, steam, and spot clean all merchandise
  • Follow quality control guidelines and inspect all garments before delivery
  • Build long-term relationships to meet and exceed customer satisfaction
  • Support inventory management by processing special orders, pickups and first quality standards
  • Support all cash wrap behaviors and process transactions accurately
  • Seek assistance from the Alterations Manager to address unresolved customer issues
  • Maintain a clean and well-organized alterations room
  • Perform duties as assigned by store management
