Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent degree
- 1-2 years prior retail experience in an apparel or specialty store environment
- prior sewing experience is helpful
- prior experience with computerized POS system
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- manual dexterity to operate POS terminals, sew and perform fittings
- ability to lift or move up to 10 pounds
- ability to see up close and at a distance
- ability to use peripheral vision and depth perception
- ability to look at, read and use computers and phones for long periods
- good communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to bend, twist, kneel and crouch as needed

Job Duties
- welcome all customers with genuine and friendly enthusiasm over the phone, virtual chats and in person
- use all systems to manage the customer flow to deliver five-star customer experience
- meet all service vows including prepare, welcome, meet needs and be there for all customers
- provide an exceptional service experience to multiple customers at one time and contribute to the store achievement of five-star customer service
- proactively address customer concerns with confidence and escalate when necessary
- effectively communicate how alterations can perfect the dress in partnership with alterations
- promote all alterations services and personalization options
- maintain store standards including cleanliness, organization, promotional readiness and store recovery
- maintain high dress code standards as per policy
- greet and escort all alterations customers to and from alterations appointments
- press, steam and spot clean all merchandise
- follow quality control guidelines and inspect all garments altered, steamed or pressed to verify pristine condition
- build long-term customer relationships to exceed satisfaction and loyalty
- support inventory management by processing special orders, pickups and first quality standards
- support cash wrap behaviors and process transactions accurately
- seek assistance from the Alterations Manager to resolve customer issues
- maintain a clean and well-organized alterations room
- perform duties as assigned by store management
