Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent degree
  • 1-2 years prior retail experience in an apparel or specialty store environment
  • prior experience with computerized POS (Point of Sale) systems
  • ability to stand, walk and sit for extended periods
  • manual dexterity to operate POS terminals, handle money and perform garment steaming and pressing
  • ability to lift or move up to 10 pounds
  • ability to see up close and at a distance
  • effective communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent degree
  • 1-2 years prior retail experience in an apparel or specialty store environment
  • prior experience with computerized POS (Point of Sale) systems
  • excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • ability to manage multiple customers simultaneously
  • sewing experience is helpful but not required

Job Duties

  • Welcome all customers with genuine and friendly enthusiasm over the phone, virtual chats and in person
  • use all systems to manage the customer flow to deliver five-star customer experience
  • meet all service vows including Prepare, Welcome, Meet Needs & Be There for all customers, including operational checklist task
  • provide exceptional service to multiple customers simultaneously and contribute to store achievement of five-star customer service
  • proactively address customer concerns and escalate issues to leadership as needed
  • effectively communicate alterations' importance and promote all alterations services and personalization options
  • maintain store standards including cleanliness, organization, promotional readiness and store recovery
  • greet and escort all alterations customers to and from appointments
  • press, steam, and spot clean all merchandise
  • follow quality control guidelines and inspect all garments to ensure pristine condition before delivery
  • build long-term customer relationships to exceed satisfaction and loyalty
  • support inventory management by processing special orders and pickups
  • process transactions accurately and support cash wrap behaviors
  • seek assistance from Alterations Manager for unresolved customer issues
  • maintain a clean and well-organized alterations room
  • perform duties assigned by store management
