Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent degree
  • 1-2 years prior retail experience in an apparel or specialty store environment
  • Prior sewing experience is helpful
  • Prior experience with computerized POS system

Job Duties

  • Welcome all customers with genuine and friendly enthusiasm over the phone, virtual chats and in person
  • Use all systems to manage the customer flow to deliver five-star customer experience
  • Meet all service vows including Prepare, Welcome, Meet Needs & Be There for all customers
  • Provide exceptional service experience to multiple customers at one time and contribute to achieving five-star customer service
  • Effectively communicate alterations importance and promote services in partnership with Alterations
  • Maintain store standards including cleanliness, organization, and promotional readiness
  • Greet and escort alterations customers to and from appointments
  • Press, steam, and spot clean merchandise
  • Inspect garments following quality control guidelines
  • Build long-term customer relationships to meet and exceed satisfaction
  • Support inventory management by processing special orders and pick-ups
  • Process transactions accurately at the cash wrap
  • Seek assistance from the Alterations Manager for unresolved customer issues
  • Maintain a clean and organized alterations room
  • Perform duties assigned by store management
