Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years prior retail experience in apparel or specialty store
- Prior sewing experience preferred
- Experience with computerized POS system
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move up to 10 pounds
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Manual dexterity for handling garments and equipment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years retail experience in apparel or specialty store
- Prior sewing experience is beneficial
- Experience using computerized POS systems
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and manage customer interactions
- Proactive problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to maintain high dress code standards
Job Duties
- Welcome and assist customers with genuine enthusiasm and clear communication
- Manage customer flow using all systems to deliver five-star service
- Meet all service standards including prepare, welcome, meet needs, and be there
- Provide exceptional service to multiple customers simultaneously
- Promote alterations and personalization services
- Maintain store standards of cleanliness, organization, and promotional readiness
- Greet and escort customers for alterations appointments
- Press, steam, and spot clean merchandise
- Inspect garments to ensure quality standards before delivery
- Build long-term customer relationships
- Support inventory management with special orders and pick-ups
- Process transactions accurately at cash wrap
- Seek assistance from Alterations Manager for unresolved customer issues
- Maintain a clean and organized alterations room
- Perform other duties as assigned by store management
