Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent degree
  • 1-2 years retail experience in apparel or specialty store
  • ability to stand, walk and sit for extended periods
  • manual dexterity for POS, steaming and sewing tasks
  • ability to lift and move up to 10 pounds
  • good communication and interpersonal skills
  • availability to work weekends
  • adherence to dress code standards
  • ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent degree
  • 1-2 years prior retail experience in an apparel or specialty store environment
  • prior sewing experience is helpful
  • prior experience with computerized POS systems
  • excellent phone skills
  • ability to manage multiple customers simultaneously
  • strong problem-solving skills
  • good communication skills

Job Duties

  • Welcome all customers with genuine and friendly enthusiasm over the phone, virtual chats and in person
  • use all systems to manage the customer flow to deliver five-star customer experience
  • meet all service vows including prepare, welcome, meet needs and be there for all customers
  • provide exceptional service experience to multiple customers at one time and contribute to the store achievement of five-star customer service
  • proactively address customer concerns with confidence and escalate when necessary
  • communicate how alterations enhance the perfect dress in partnership with alterations
  • promote all alterations services and personalization options
  • maintain store standards including cleanliness and organization to support a flawless shopping experience
  • greet and escort alterations customers for appointments
  • press, steam and spot clean all merchandise
  • follow quality control guidelines and inspect all garments to ensure pristine condition
  • build long-term relationships to meet and exceed customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • support inventory management by processing special orders and pickups
  • process transactions accurately at cash wrap
  • seek assistance from the Alterations Manager to resolve customer issues
  • maintain a clean and organized alterations room
  • perform duties and tasks assigned by store management
