Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years prior retail experience in retail or specialty store
- prior sewing experience preferred but not mandatory
- experience using computerized POS system
- excellent phone and communication skills
- ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods
- ability to lift or move up to 10 pounds
- manual dexterity for non-selling duties such as steaming and sewing
- adherence to dress code standards
- availability to work primarily weekends
- reliable and punctual
- ability to work well in a team environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years prior retail experience in apparel or specialty store
- prior sewing experience helpful
- experience with computerized POS systems

Job Duties
- Welcome all customers with enthusiasm in person and over the phone
- use systems to manage customer flow and deliver five-star service
- meet service vows including prepare, welcome, meet needs, and be there
- provide exceptional service to multiple customers at once and handle customer concerns
- communicate the role of alterations and promote services
- maintain store standards including cleanliness and organization
- greet and escort alterations customers for appointments
- press, steam, and spot clean merchandise
- follow quality control guidelines and inspect garments
- build long-term customer relationships
- support inventory management for special orders and pickups
- process transactions accurately at the cash wrap
- seek assistance from management for unresolved issues
- keep the alterations room clean and organized
- perform duties as assigned by store management
