Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years retail experience in apparel or specialty store
- Basic sewing skills preferred
- Proficiency with computerized POS systems
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Good manual dexterity for sewing and garment handling
- Ability to lift or move up to 10 pounds
- Clear and effective communication skills
- Ability to work weekends primarily
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years prior retail experience in apparel or specialty store
- Prior sewing experience helpful
- Experience with computerized POS systems
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Welcome customers with genuine enthusiasm over phone, virtual chats and in person
- Use systems to manage customer flow delivering five-star service
- Meet all service vows including Prepare, Welcome, Meet Needs and Be There
- Provide exceptional service experience to multiple customers simultaneously
- Communicate importance of alterations and promote related services
- Maintain store standards including cleanliness and organization
- Greet and escort alterations customers
- Press, steam and spot clean merchandise
- Inspect garments for quality control before delivery
- Build long-term relationships to exceed customer satisfaction
- Support inventory management and process special orders
- Process cash wrap transactions accurately
- Seek assistance from Alterations Manager as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized alterations room
- Perform duties assigned by store management
