Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent degree
- 1-2 years prior retail experience in an apparel or specialty store environment
- Prior sewing experience is helpful
- Prior experience with computerized POS system
- Ability to stand, walk and sit for extended periods
- Manual dexterity to operate POS terminals and perform sewing tasks
- Ability to lift and move up to 10 pounds
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Ability to maintain dress code standards
- Ability to perform quality control inspections
- Physical ability to handle stooping, kneeling and crouching as needed

Job Duties
- Welcome all customers with genuine and friendly enthusiasm over the phone, virtual chats and in person
- Use all systems to manage the customer flow to deliver five-star customer experience
- Meet all service vows including Prepare, Welcome, Meet Needs and Be There for all customers
- Provide exceptional service experience to multiple customers simultaneously and contribute to five-star customer service achievement
- Address customer concerns proactively and escalate when necessary
- Communicate importance of alterations in partnership with the alterations department
- Promote all alterations services and personalization options
- Maintain store standards including cleanliness, organization and promotional readiness
- Greet and escort alterations customers to and from appointments
- Press, steam and spot clean all merchandise
- Follow quality control guidelines and inspect all garments before final delivery
- Build long-term relationships to exceed customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Support inventory management by processing special orders and pickups
- Process transactions accurately and support cash wrap behaviors
- Seek assistance from the Alterations Manager for unresolved customer issues
- Maintain a clean and organized alterations room
- Perform duties assigned by store management
