  • High school diploma or equivalent degree
  • 1-2 years prior retail experience in apparel or specialty store environment
  • Prior sewing experience is helpful
  • Experience with computerized POS system

Job Duties

  • Welcome customers with enthusiasm and clear communication over the phone, virtual chats, and in person
  • Use systems to manage customer flow and deliver five-star customer experience
  • Meet all service vows including preparation, welcoming, meeting needs, and being present
  • Provide exceptional service to multiple customers simultaneously
  • Address customer concerns confidently and escalate when necessary
  • Communicate alterations importance and promote services and personalization options
  • Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and promotional readiness
  • Greet and escort alterations customers for appointments
  • Press, steam, and spot clean merchandise
  • Follow quality control guidelines for altered garments
  • Build long-term customer relationships
  • Support inventory management including special orders and pickups
  • Process transactions accurately at cash wrap
  • Seek assistance from Alterations Manager for unresolved issues
  • Maintain a clean and organized alterations room
  • Perform tasks assigned by store management
