Job Duties

  • Greet every guest promptly with a smile and maintain eye contact
  • Be courteous and gracious, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times
  • Establish and maintain good communications and teamwork with colleagues and other hotel departments
  • Offer guests an enjoyable experience that meets the hotel's standards of excellence, professionalism, and friendliness
  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge of the service sequence and follow it for every guest
  • Possess expert knowledge of the POS system to accurately communicate guest orders
  • Demonstrate proficiency in barista work and all coffee and tea-related knowledge
  • Handle payment transactions, ensure correct cash handling and gratuity distribution
  • Take ownership of service issues brought to attention by guests
  • Maintain awareness of safety issues throughout the hotel
  • Participate in departmental and administrative meetings as required
  • Adhere to hotel standards of operation, policies, procedures, manuals, memos, and verbal instructions
  • Be familiar with safety and emergency procedures including OSHA requirements
