Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of three years experience in hospitality or service industry preferred
- ability to communicate effectively
- willingness to collaborate with team members
- strong ethical standards
- proficiency with computer applications including Microsoft Office and Opera PMS
- positive and detail-oriented approach
- capability to solve problems efficiently

Job Duties
- Greet every guest promptly with a smile and maintain eye contact
- be courteous and gracious, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times
- establish and maintain good communications and teamwork with fellow colleagues and other departments within the hotel
- offer guests an enjoyable experience that conforms to the hotel’s standards of excellence, professionalism and friendliness
- demonstrate advanced understanding and knowledge of the sequence of service, following this sequence for every guest
- possess expert knowledge of the POS system to correctly and strategically communicate guest orders
- demonstrate proficiency in barista work and all coffee and tea-related subject matter
- responsible for receiving payment for all items ordered, correct cash handling and gratuity distribution
- take ownership of all service issues brought to your attention by guests
- maintain an increased awareness of safety issues throughout the hotel
- participate in scheduled departmental and administrative meetings as requested
- adhere to all standards of operations, policies and procedures, manuals, memos and verbal instructions
- be familiar with all safety and emergency procedures including OSHA requirements
