Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of three years experience in hospitality or service industry preferred
  • ability to communicate effectively
  • willingness to collaborate with team members
  • strong ethical standards
  • proficiency with computer applications including Microsoft Office and Opera PMS
  • positive and detail-oriented approach
  • capability to solve problems efficiently

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • three (3) years related experience in hospitality or service industry preferred

Job Duties

  • Greet every guest promptly with a smile and maintain eye contact
  • be courteous and gracious, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times
  • establish and maintain good communications and teamwork with fellow colleagues and other departments within the hotel
  • offer guests an enjoyable experience that conforms to the hotel’s standards of excellence, professionalism and friendliness
  • demonstrate advanced understanding and knowledge of the sequence of service, following this sequence for every guest
  • possess expert knowledge of the POS system to correctly and strategically communicate guest orders
  • demonstrate proficiency in barista work and all coffee and tea-related subject matter
  • responsible for receiving payment for all items ordered, correct cash handling and gratuity distribution
  • take ownership of all service issues brought to your attention by guests
  • maintain an increased awareness of safety issues throughout the hotel
  • participate in scheduled departmental and administrative meetings as requested
  • adhere to all standards of operations, policies and procedures, manuals, memos and verbal instructions
  • be familiar with all safety and emergency procedures including OSHA requirements
