Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in kitchen management or food service supervision
- Current Food Handlers and/or ServSafe certification
- Ability to comply with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Experience in a kitchen or food service setting
- Experience managing or supervising a team
- Current Food Handlers and/or ServSafe certification
- Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) license preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a team-oriented and compassionate environment
Job Duties
- Oversee daily kitchen operations to ensure quality and nutritional standards are met
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment compliant with health regulations
- Order food and kitchen supplies and manage inventory efficiently
- Manage kitchen budget and control costs to maximize resources
- Hire, train, and schedule kitchen staff to ensure adequate coverage and performance
- Collaborate closely with Registered Dietitians to meet residents' dietary needs
- Ensure compliance with food safety certifications and best practices
