Job Requirements

  • Must be 19 years or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to interact with mobile devices and touch screen technology
  • Previous experience using smartphones or tablet applications strongly preferred
  • Demonstrates commitment to guest service excellence and ethical conduct
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Nebraska gaming license
  • Food handler certification required
  • ServSafe certification required
  • TIPS alcohol certification required

Job Duties

  • Provide information on all aspects of available services and facilities for guests
  • Greet guests and arrange seating, monitor room atmosphere
  • Quote accurate waiting times and handle guest waiting lists or reservations according to established procedures
  • Assist guests with special requests
  • Communicate with co-workers and supervisor to ensure quality service
  • Maintain a seating chart for the restaurant including the bar and lounge
  • Direct the flow of work for both wait staff and bus persons
  • Update the floor chart regularly throughout the shift
  • Clean menus as required throughout the shift
  • Clean and organize the host stand daily
  • Perform light dusting and maintain the work area
  • Assist wait staff as necessary with to go orders
  • Provide prompt, friendly greeting and proper seating of all guests
  • Ensure smooth operation of the front of the restaurant
  • Comply with all department and company rules and regulations
  • Attend periodic meetings and training sessions
  • Maintain a neat and clean appearance
  • Perform other duties as assigned
