Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one to three months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- ability to read a limited number of two and three-syllable words
- ability to recognize similarities and differences between words and series of numbers
- ability to print and speak simple sentences
- ability to add, subtract two digit numbers, multiply and divide with tens and hundreds
- ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
- physical ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, hear, and smell as required for job performance

Job Duties
- Sweeps, mops, scrubs or otherwise cleans windows, offices, breakrooms, hallways, bathrooms and public areas as assigned
- operates floor cleaners, vacuums and other cleaning machines
- maintains an inventory of cleaning supplies
- replenishes soap and paper dispensers
- empties trash and garbage containers
- notifies supervision of the need for building or cleaning equipment repairs
- runs errands as necessary
- participates in Total Quality Management programs
