Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 2 to 4 years experience in food preparation
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods
- Ability to withstand repetitive reaching and bending
- Responsible handling of hot equipment and sharp objects
- Ability to navigate wet floors
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and push a cart weighing up to 150 lbs
- Availability to work weekends, holidays, and varied hours
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 2 to 4 years experience in food preparation
- Completion of Cooking Practical for Line Cook I for internal candidates before promotion to Line Cook II
- Ability to operate standard commercial kitchen equipment
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail in food presentation
Job Duties
- All phases of food preparation, production, and presentation for hot line and banquets
- Checking in deliveries and dating product
- Operation of standard commercial kitchen equipment
- Set up, cleaning, sanitation, and closing of workstations and kitchen
- Accurate testing of prepared food items to ensure proper temperature and quality
- Labeling and dating products to ensure food safety and quality
- General cleaning duties of area and equipment
