Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age
- Must be 21 years of age for any position that serves alcohol
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to safely work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, sitting, pushing, bending, and using a keyboard
- Current employees applying for internal transfers, promotions, or rehire must have a recommendation from their current leader
- May be required to accept a part-time position if available
- Rehires must be approved by an HR business partner
Job Qualifications
- Experience in cake decorating or bakery operations preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong customer service skills
- Attention to detail and creativity
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Good communication skills
Job Duties
- Icing sheet cakes and decorating with spatulas, icing bags and icing tips per customer order or at decorators' discretion
- Providing memorable customer service during daily customer interactions
- Preparation of food, including baking bread, decorating cookies, creating fresh offerings
- Sharing food knowledge with customers
- Cleaning, food safety, safety, and sanitation
- Day to day production, merchandising, and quality control of all department offerings
- Stocking, rotating, and merchandising department products
- All other related duties as assigned
