Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age
- must be 21 for positions serving alcohol
- ability to stand for extended periods
- ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- reliable and punctual
- able to follow safety protocols
- capable of working flexible hours including weekends
- must receive endorsement from current leader if internal transfer
- approval required for rehires by HRBP
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in deli or food service preferred
- strong leadership and team management skills
- excellent customer service abilities
- knowledge of food safety regulations
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- basic inventory management skills
- effective communication skills
- ability to operate slicers and food preparation equipment safely
Job Duties
- Direct department personnel in team leader's absence
- meet department goals and objectives
- communicate with store director and deli supervisors
- order products and supplies
- oversee preparation and merchandising of deli/bistro food items
- display merchandise per company guidelines
- rotate deli/bistro items for quality and safety
- comply with food safety and sanitation policies
- receive and stock merchandise
- monitor product pricing, signage, and placement
- maintain clean and orderly work areas
- operate safely around slicers and ovens
- take and complete customer orders
- perform related duties as assigned
