Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age
  • must be 21 for positions serving alcohol
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • reliable and punctual
  • able to follow safety protocols
  • capable of working flexible hours including weekends
  • must receive endorsement from current leader if internal transfer
  • approval required for rehires by HRBP

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in deli or food service preferred
  • strong leadership and team management skills
  • excellent customer service abilities
  • knowledge of food safety regulations
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • basic inventory management skills

  • ability to operate slicers and food preparation equipment safely

Job Duties

  • Direct department personnel in team leader's absence
  • meet department goals and objectives
  • communicate with store director and deli supervisors
  • order products and supplies
  • oversee preparation and merchandising of deli/bistro food items
  • display merchandise per company guidelines
  • rotate deli/bistro items for quality and safety
  • comply with food safety and sanitation policies
  • receive and stock merchandise
  • monitor product pricing, signage, and placement
  • maintain clean and orderly work areas
  • operate safely around slicers and ovens
  • take and complete customer orders
  • perform related duties as assigned
