Job Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old at the time of hire
- prior experience in food and beverage service and food preparation preferred
- experience with hot and cold food preparation
- knowledge of accepted sanitation standards and health codes
- proficiency in operating kitchen equipment if 18 or older
- ability to work in fast-paced environment
- valid food handler's card as required
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- ability to lift and transport up to 50 pounds safely
- ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years of age at the time of hire
- prior experience in food and beverage service and food preparation is preferred
- demonstrated experience with both hot and cold food preparation
- sound working knowledge of accepted sanitation standards and health codes
- if 18 years old or older, proficiency in operating kitchen equipment such as slicers, mixers, grinders, and food processors
- ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and efficiency
- possession of a valid food handler's card as required by county regulations
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes and quality standards
- operate various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including slicers, mixers, grinders, and food processors
- maintain a thorough understanding of hot and cold food preparation techniques
- adhere to all accepted sanitation standards and health codes to ensure a safe and hygienic work environment
- wash dishes and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area
- utilize cut gloves when handling knives and other sharp utensils
- manage assigned tasks effectively and meet established time schedules
- maintain an immaculate kitchen environment through regular cleaning and adherence to hygiene protocols
- fulfill any other duties as delegated or directed by supervisory personnel
