Job Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age at the time of hire
- valid food handler's card as required by county regulations
- prior food preparation experience preferred
- ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- ability to stand for extended periods
- capability to lift and transport up to 50 pounds safely
- ability to operate kitchen equipment safely
- ability to follow sanitation and safety procedures
- capability to work in high-stress environments
- ability to maintain focus and perform repetitive tasks under time constraints
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years of age at the time of hire
- prior experience in food and beverage service and food preparation preferred
- demonstrated experience with hot and cold food preparation
- sound knowledge of sanitation standards and health codes
- proficiency in operating kitchen equipment for those 18 years or older
- ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- possession of a valid food handler's card as required
- ability to communicate and work well in a team
- strong time-management skills
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes and quality standards
- operate various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently including slicers, mixers, grinders, and food processors
- maintain a thorough understanding of hot and cold food preparation techniques
- adhere to sanitation standards and health codes to ensure a safe work environment
- wash dishes and keep dishwashing area clean and organized
- use cut gloves when handling sharp utensils
- manage assigned tasks effectively and meet time schedules
- maintain cleanliness and hygiene protocols in the kitchen
- fulfill delegated duties as directed by supervisory personnel
