Job Requirements

- Pass company background and drug tests
- Meet airport security badge criteria
- Legal authorization to work
- Excellent vision and coordination
- Valid driver's license, CDL as required

- Preferred aviation or customer service experience
- Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality
- Ability to communicate clearly in English
- Ability to perform basic math
- Physical ability to operate equipment and perform job duties safely
- Ability to follow safety protocols and emergency procedures
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and manage tasks efficiently
- Computer literacy and training completion
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Ability to pass background checks including criminal, motor vehicle, and drug tests
- Meet airport security badge requirements
- Legally authorized to work in the jurisdiction
- Excellent vision and coordination including passing a color vision test for aviation fuel inspection
- Valid state driver’s license, CDL as required
- Ability to exercise good judgment and follow directions
- Preferred 3 to 6 months experience or training in aviation, customer service or related field
- Excellent guest service skills with energetic and outgoing personality
- Ability to comprehend safety rules and operating instructions in English
- Ability to perform arithmetic calculations
- Ability to operate motor vehicles and ground support equipment safely
- Ability to follow multi-step instructions
- Strong interpersonal and multitasking skills
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to complete training programs
Job Duties
- Work as part of a team to conduct airside operations safely and efficiently in accordance with established policies and standard operating procedures
- Collaborate with team members, guests, clients, vendors, and aircraft crewmembers to meet service needs including fueling, de-icing, lavatory, ground power and potable water services, parking, marshalling, wing walking, delivering catering and towing
- Proactively prepare for arriving and departing aircraft, perform open job tasks, and report safety concerns
- Operate and drive ground service equipment such as fuel trucks, de-icing trucks, ground power units, tugs, stair trucks
- Load and unload luggage and cargo into and out of aircraft and other transportation modes
- Provide professional and friendly guest service with a positive and helpful attitude
- Offer safe and courteous transportation when driving shuttle vehicles
- Maintain safe, clean, and secure ramps and operations
- Manage fuel handling including quality control, receipt, inventory and documentation
- Enforce all operational, safety and guest service requirements
- Stop work when unsafe conditions arise and report to management
- Follow emergency response procedures
- Comply with all security protocols
- Create accurate records of time worked and services performed
