Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum age of 18
- Pass company background checks and drug tests
- Meet airport security badge requirements
- Legal authorization to work in the location of employment
- Excellent vision including color vision
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Ability to follow directions and exercise good judgment
- Preferred experience or training in relevant fields
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- Ability to pass company background checks, drug tests, and airport security requirements
- Must be legally authorized to work in the jurisdiction of employment
- Excellent vision and coordination with ability to pass a color vision test
- Valid state driver’s license, commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred as required
- Ability to exercise good judgment and follow management directions
- Preferred three to six months experience or training in aviation, customer service, or related field
- Excellent guest service skills with energetic and outgoing personality
- Ability to read, comprehend, and communicate in English effectively
- Ability to perform simple arithmetic
- Physical ability to operate vehicles and ground equipment safely
- Strong critical thinking and reasoning skills
- Excellent interpersonal and multitasking skills
- Ability to use computers and company software
- Ability to complete training programs successfully and timely
Job Duties
- Work as part of a team to conduct airside operations safely and efficiently in accordance with established policies and standard operating procedures
- Collaborate, cooperate, and work closely with all team members, guests, clients, vendors, and aircraft crewmembers to ensure service needs are met
- Operate and drive ground service equipment such as fuel trucks, de-icing trucks, ground power units, tugs, stair trucks
- Load and unload luggage and cargo into/out of aircraft and transportation modes
- Provide professional and friendly guest service with a positive attitude
- Offer safe, convenient, and courteous transportation by driving shuttle vehicles
- Maintain safe, clean, and secure ramps and operations
- Handle fuel quality control, fuel receipt, inventory, and maintain accurate documentation
- Follow emergency response procedures during critical events
- Create accurate records pertaining to time worked and services performed
