Job Requirements
- high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- minimum age of 18 years
- pass company background and criminal motor vehicle checks
- drug testing clearance
- meet airport security badge requirements
- legally authorized to work
- excellent vision including color vision for fuel inspection
- valid state driver's license, commercial driver's license (CDL) preferred in some locations
- ability to exercise good judgment and follow directions
- preferred 3 to 6 months experience or training in aviation, customer service or related field
- excellent hospitality and guest service skills
- proficiency in English language reading, writing, and communication
- basic math abilities
- physical capability to operate motor vehicles and equipment
- ability to follow multi-step instructions and critical thinking skills
- strong interpersonal and multitasking abilities
- computer literacy and ability to complete training programs
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- minimum of 18 years of age
- ability to pass company background checks including criminal and motor vehicle, drug tests, and meet airport security badge requirements
- legally authorized to work in the jurisdiction of employment
- excellent vision and coordination with ability to pass color vision test for aviation fuel inspection
- valid state driver's license, commercial driver's license (CDL) preferred depending on location
- good judgment and ability to follow supervisor directions
- preferred 3 to 6 months experience or training in aviation, customer service, or related field
- excellent hospitality skills with an outgoing, guest-focused personality
- ability to read and understand instructions and safety documentation in English
- ability to perform basic arithmetic
- physical ability to operate vehicles and ground service equipment safely including working at elevated heights
- strong critical thinking and reasoning skills
- excellent interpersonal and multitasking skills

Job Duties
- work as part of a team to conduct airside operations safely and efficiently in accordance with established policies and standard operating procedures
- collaborate with all team members, guests, clients, vendors, and aircraft crewmembers to ensure service needs are met including fueling, de-icing, lavatory, ground power and potable water services, parking, marshalling, wing walking, delivering catering and towing
- proactively prepare for arriving and departing aircraft, identify and perform open job tasks, and immediately communicate safety concerns
- operate and drive ground service equipment such as fuel trucks, de-icing trucks, ground power units, tugs, stair trucks
- load and unload luggage and cargo into and out of aircraft and various modes of transportation
- provide professional and friendly guest service exhibiting a positive and helpful attitude
- offer safe, convenient, and courteous transportation when driving shuttle vehicles
- maintain safe, clean, and secure ramps and operations
- handle fuel including quality control, receipt, inventory, and documentation
- understand, comply with, and enforce all operational, safety, and guest service requirements
- stop work if unsafe conditions or acts are observed and report to management
- follow emergency response procedures
- enforce all security protocols as dictated by Signature Aviation and airport authorities
- create accurate records related to time worked and services performed
