Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid California Motor Vehicle Driver's License
- Training or experience in general building maintenance and repair
- Ability to perform minor carpentry, electrical, painting, and plumbing tasks
- Must be able to pass a written examination with a minimum score of 70 percent
- Must submit all applicable application materials
- Ability to work within Kern County Airports Department policies
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- Possession of a valid California Motor Vehicle Driver's License
- Experience or training in general building maintenance and repair
- Knowledge of basic carpentry, electrical, painting, and plumbing trades
- Ability to use related tools and equipment

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Perform minor carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical repairs
- Use tools, equipment, and materials relevant to general building maintenance
- Conduct minor road and fence repairs around airport facilities
- Follow safety protocols and maintain cleanliness in work areas
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies
- Support continuous improvement and innovation in airport maintenance processes
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure facility integrity
