Job Requirements
- High school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent
- Combination of training, education, and experience in building maintenance and repair
- Valid California Motor Vehicle Driver's License
- Ability to attain at least 70% score on the written examination
- Provide valid government issued photo identification for examination admittance
- Successful completion of background check and post offer medical and drug screening tests
- Eligible to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- Experience in general building maintenance and repair including carpentry, electrical, painting, and plumbing
- Valid California Motor Vehicle Driver's License
- Ability to pass a written examination assessing knowledge of relevant trades
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to maintenance work
Job Duties
- Perform minor carpentry repairs and maintenance
- Conduct electrical repairs including basic wiring and fixture replacement
- Carry out painting tasks for facility upkeep
- Address plumbing issues such as leaks and fixture installation
- Perform minor road and fence repairs within airport grounds
- Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Collaborate with team members to maintain airport facilities in compliance with safety standards
