Job Requirements
- Current resident of Wisconsin
- Valid Wisconsin driver’s license
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalency
- Ability to lift and carry up to 60 pounds and push or pull up to 60 pounds
- Ability to work long hours during emergency situations and adverse weather
- Must pass background investigation and drug testing according to Department of Transportation regulations
- Willingness to comply with mandatory drug and alcohol testing as per the Omnibus Transportation Testing Act
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalency
- Valid Wisconsin driver’s license
- Ability to lift and carry up to 60 pounds and push or pull up to 60 pounds
- Ability to work long hours during emergency situations and adverse weather
- Previous experience operating motorized landscaping or maintenance equipment preferred
- Valid commercial driver’s license preferred
Job Duties
- Perform snow removal during winter weather
- Operate motorized vehicles including pickup trucks with trailers, riding mowers, weed eaters, and leaf blowers
- Mow and trim grass on airport grounds and outlying properties
- Maintain flower beds by planting, cultivating, pulling weeds, and fertilizing
- Pick litter and sweep pavements
- Operate and maintain equipment and vehicles
- Perform other maintenance tasks as necessary
