Job Requirements
- Current resident of Wisconsin
- Current valid Wisconsin Driver's License
- Valid CDL preferred
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalency
- Ability to lift/carry up to 60 lbs. and push/pull up to 60 lbs.
- Able to work long hours during emergency situations and in adverse weather
- Compliance with Omnibus Transportation Testing Act of 1991 and Department of Transportation regulations including drug and alcohol testing
- Successful background investigation including previous employer checks
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and substance abuse testing
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalency
- Valid Wisconsin Driver's License
- CDL preferred
- Experience operating motorized landscaping and maintenance equipment preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including long shifts during emergency weather situations
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 60 pounds and push or pull up to 60 pounds
Job Duties
- Perform snow removal operations as needed during winter weather
- Operate motorized vehicles including pickup trucks with trailers, riding mowers, weed eaters and leaf blowers
- Mow and trim grass on airport grounds and outlying airport-owned properties
- Maintain flower beds by planting, cultivating, pulling weeds and fertilizing
- Pick litter and sweep pavements
- Operate and maintain equipment and vehicles
- Participate in other related maintenance tasks as necessary
