Job Requirements

  • Requires an associate degree preferably in Hospitality Management, Aviation Management, Business or related fields
  • two years of experience in customer service or hospitality environment
  • bilingual skills with Spanish preferred
  • ability to work shift work including weekends and holidays
  • must pass criminal background check
  • must obtain and maintain federally mandated security clearances where required
  • valid Class C Texas driver’s license
  • compliance with City of Houston driving policy

Job Qualifications

  • Associate degree preferably in Hospitality Management, Aviation Management, Business or related fields
  • two years of experience in a customer service or hospitality environment
  • bilingual skills specifically in Spanish preferred
  • demonstrated leadership and organizational skills
  • effective communication skills
  • ability to work shift work including weekends and holidays
  • ability to pass criminal background check and obtain federally mandated security clearances
  • valid Class C Texas driver’s license

Job Duties

  • Supports the supervisory team by assisting with scheduling and monitoring breaks
  • coordinates with airlines and Customs Border Protection to ensure passengers process through Federal Inspection Services in an expeditious manner
  • facilitates international passenger departures and arrivals through Federal Inspection Services in collaboration with CBP leadership and stakeholders
  • uses multilingual skills to greet and assist international and domestic visitors and dignitaries
  • promotes collaboration and values passenger, business partner and team member input to improve the overall international passenger processing experience
  • responsible for all aspects of the customer experience including information booth coverage and lost and found
  • inspects, reports and schedules facility irregularities
  • promotes a safe, secure and healthy environment through the Safety Management System
  • complies with departmental policies and regulatory compliance
  • supports International Services departmental fiscal year budget goals
  • supports special events and facilitation of dignitaries and VIP
