Job Requirements
- Two years of full-time experience in EVS, custodial work or housekeeping services
- at least one year of lead or supervisory experience or equivalent
- valid Class C Nevada Driver's License at time of appointment
- successful completion of airport's Badging Security Class with a ramp designation
- passing a Clark County Defensive Driving Class during probationary period
- ability to work evenings, nights, weekends and holidays
- must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- must pass a physical examination and pre-employment drug screening
- residency within Clark County
- successful completion of an education and experience background investigation
- fingerprint-based FBI criminal history check
- ability to obtain TSA security badge
- must meet Customs and Border Protection Security Seal Program requirements
Job Qualifications
- Two years of full-time experience in EVS, custodial work or housekeeping services
- at least one year of lead or supervisory experience or equivalent
- ability to work extended shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- valid Class C Nevada Driver's License
- successful completion of airport security badging and TSA clearance
- ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 70 pounds and standing/walking for extended periods
- strong communication and leadership skills
- ability to use cleaning equipment and follow safety procedures
Job Duties
- Project a positive image while communicating with guests and team members
- provide lead direction, training, and evaluate the work of EVS Attendants and contractors
- organize and assign work, set priorities, and follow up to ensure completion
- perform cleaning duties including sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, polishing floors, and disinfecting restrooms
- conduct regular quality inspections and report maintenance or safety hazards
- maintain EVS equipment and follow safety and maintenance checklists
- report unauthorized persons and security problems
- keep records of work performed
- assist with guest line queuing and luggage movement during high passenger volumes
- assist in fire and life safety system outages with door and fire watch duties
- use department-issued technology and drive department vehicles as required
