Job Requirements
- Requires high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to lift and carry freight weighing up to 50 lbs
- ability to sit for extended periods of time and climb in and out of vehicle
- ability to follow instructions and complete required training
- must be a minimum of 21 years of age
- able to meet deadlines and attendance standards
- 7-day availability
- previous experience in delivery operations or related business operations experience preferred
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- good verbal and written communication skills
- ability to count and perform basic math
- must maintain proper credentials for airport delivery
- ability to work independently and/or as a team member
- ability to follow instructions and complete required training
Job Duties
- Prepare bundles to be dropped at various airport locations
- may assist in unloading newspapers from delivery trucks and verifying receipt of proper amounts of all newspapers
- deliver bundles to correct gate areas as instructed by airport driver
- assist in performing daily pre-trip safety inspections on all equipment
- comply with airport regulations and procedures
- follow dispatch instructions and communicate as required
- demonstrate internal and external customer service
- comply with all applicable laws, safety standards, as well as company policies and procedures
- perform other delivery related tasks as assigned
