Job Requirements
- Ability to frequently lift more than 70 lbs and constantly lift up to 70 lbs
- ability to constantly push, pull up to 70 lbs
- ability to constantly walk, stand, reach above shoulder, climb, crawl, stoop, squat, kneel, and bend
- willingness and ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, holidays and overtime
- openness to working in various outside weather conditions including severe seasonal elements
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent education
- must be at least 18 years of age
- must be able to obtain credentials required by airport, state or customs regulations
- possess a valid driver’s license
- one year of relevant work experience in aviation or ground handling industry preferred
Job Duties
- Lead a team of agents in ramp service duties
- marshal the aircraft on the ramp for all arriving, departing and towed aircraft
- perform wing walker duties to protect the aircraft wing from equipment during pushback and de-icing
- load, unload, sort and transfer passenger baggage, airmail, freight and company material
- operate ramp equipment such as bag tugs, belt loaders, aircraft tow tractors, water servicing vehicles, and lavatory servicing vehicles
- perform cabin service duties including cleaning and restocking supplies
- monitor and enforce safe working conditions in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policies
- promote and adhere to policies concerning safety, anti-harassment, and equal employment opportunity
- perform other related duties as assigned
- complete work in a safe and secure manner
- report safety and security incidents and potential hazards promptly
