Job Requirements
- Must have high school diploma or GED
- must be at least 18 years of age
- must possess computer experience of 6 plus months
- knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- ability to navigate electronic devices such as computers, fax machines, printers, and timeclocks
- proven business unit supervisory experience
- experience in operational planning and resource allocation
- working knowledge of ground support equipment maintenance
- understanding of commercial aviation issues
- capable of processing information in a timely manner
- must have and maintain a valid driver's license
- able to proficiently speak, read, and write English
- basic computer literacy
- previous ramp or airline experience
- must successfully complete all training requirements and maintain certifications
- must clear an FBI fingerprint background check

Job Duties
- Establishing shift assignments for fulltime and part-time employees
- monitoring and ensuring safe and efficient operation of airline ground support equipment
- reporting functional and mechanical discrepancies on ground support equipment
- coordinating with assigned carriers to meet cargo and baggage service needs
- managing equipment availability and operational status
- conferring with supervisors and managers to coordinate departmental activities
- determining manpower requirements and conducting disciplinary procedures
- complying with attendance and tardiness standards
- performing under pressure within fixed time constraints
- ensuring ground equipment availability for upcoming flights
- reading and interpreting aircraft weight and balance instructions, hazardous materials labels, loading manifests, and baggage routing tags
- following all federal, state, municipal, airport authority, and carrier rules and regulations
- briefing crews before flights on their roles and flight operations
- performing other assigned duties
