Job Requirements

  • Must possess computer experience of six plus months and knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • ability to navigate electronic devices including computers, fax machines, printers, and timeclock
  • a working knowledge of ground support equipment maintenance issues
  • experience and understanding of commercial issues in aviation
  • must have a high school diploma or GED
  • must be at least 18 years of age
  • capable of processing information in a timely manner
  • must have and maintain a valid driver’s license
  • able to proficiently speak, read, and write in English
  • basic computer literacy
  • previous ramp or airline experience
  • must successfully complete all training requirements and maintain certifications throughout employment
  • must clear a FBI fingerprint background check

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • prior aviation experience
  • knowledge of ground support equipment maintenance
  • computer literacy including Microsoft Word and Excel
  • ability to operate electronic devices such as computers, fax machines, printers, and time clocks
  • excellent communication skills in English
  • ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • understanding of commercial aviation issues
  • valid driver’s license
  • ability to complete required training and maintain certifications
  • ability to pass a background check including FBI fingerprint clearance

Job Duties

  • Report to work on a regular and timely basis
  • ensure Ramp Agents wear personal protective equipment and are ready to perform duties
  • provide input on operational improvements and efficiencies
  • report operational feedback for flight delays and performance to leadership
  • address security related issues to leadership and conduct meetings
  • perform under pressure and within fixed time constraints
  • ensure Ramp Agents adhere to uniform standards
  • lift, load, unload, and transport customer bags and cargo to and from aircraft, bag carts, and conveyor belts
  • drive and operate ground support equipment
  • prepare cabin for customer boarding and departure including cleaning seats, seat pockets, floor, galleys and lavatories
  • ensure necessary ground equipment is available in ramp area and bag room for upcoming flights
  • follow company and federal safety regulations and procedures
  • perform other duties as required
