Job Requirements

  • Must have at least 6 months of computer experience including Microsoft Word and Excel
  • must be capable of navigating electronic devices
  • knowledge of ground support equipment maintenance
  • must understand commercial aviation issues
  • high school diploma or GED required
  • minimum age of 18 years
  • ability to process information timely
  • must have and maintain valid driver’s license
  • proficiency in English language
  • basic computer literacy
  • prior ramp or airline experience required
  • must complete and maintain training certifications
  • must clear FBI fingerprint background check

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • prior experience in ramp or airline operations
  • basic computer literacy including Microsoft Word and Excel
  • ability to navigate electronic devices such as computers, fax machines, printers, and time clocks
  • working knowledge of ground support equipment maintenance issues
  • understanding of commercial issues in aviation
  • proficient in English reading, writing, and speaking
  • valid driver's license
  • ability to complete and maintain training and certifications
  • able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Report to work on a regular and timely basis
  • ensure Ramp Agents are in personal protective equipment and ready to perform duties
  • provide input on operational improvements and efficiencies
  • report operational feedback for flight delays and performance to leadership
  • address security related issues to leadership and be responsible for meetings
  • perform under pressure and within fixed time constraints
  • ensure Ramp Agents adhere to uniform standards
  • lift, load, unload, and transport customer bags and cargo to and from aircrafts, bag carts, and conveyor belts
  • drive and operate ground support equipment
  • prepare cabin for customer boarding and departure, including cleaning seats, seat pockets, floor, galleys, and lavatories
  • ensure necessary ground equipment is available in the ramp area and bag room for upcoming flights
  • follow company and federal safety regulations and procedures
  • perform other duties as required
