Job Requirements
- Must be able to frequently lift greater than 70 lbs and constantly lift up to 70 lbs
- Must be able to constantly push or pull up to 70 lbs
- Must be able to constantly walk, stand, reach above shoulder level, climb, crawl, stoop, squat, kneel, and bend
- Must be able to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime
- Must be able to work outdoors in varying and severe weather conditions
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to obtain credentials as required by airport, state, or customs regulations
- Possess a valid driver’s license
Job Duties
- Marshall all arriving, departing, and towed aircraft on the ramp
- Perform wing walker duties to protect aircraft wings during pushback and de-icing
- Load, unload, sort and transfer passenger baggage, airmail, freight and company material
- Operate ramp equipment including bag tugs, belt loaders, tow tractors, water servicing vehicles, and lavatory servicing trucks
- Perform cabin service duties such as cleaning lavatories and restocking supplies
- Adhere to all safety procedures and policies
- Report safety and security incidents and potential hazards immediately
