Job Requirements
- HS diploma, GED or equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to successfully communicate with others
Job Qualifications
- Ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language
- Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends, holidays and days off
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to operate ground support equipment safely
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor
- Knowledge of airport safety and security procedures
Job Duties
- Marshall aircraft upon arrival and departure
- Load and unload cargo on and off aircraft
- Safely drive and operate ground support equipment including belt loaders, tugs, carts to pick-up and deliver cargo and bags between the terminal, warehouse and aircraft
- Sort and load cargo
- Perform ground service functions such as connecting and removing ground power and ground start units and water service
- Perform aircraft push back, wing walking and related guide man functions
- Maintain a secure work environment
