Job Requirements
- Must have physical ability to frequently lift more than 70lbs and constantly lift up to 70lbs
- Must be capable of pushing and pulling up to 70lbs frequently
- Must be able to walk, stand, reach above shoulder level, climb, crawl, stoop, squat, kneel, and bend constantly
- Must be able to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime
- Must be willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions including severe seasonal elements
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to obtain necessary credentials as per airport, state, or customs regulations
- Possess a valid driver’s license
Job Duties
- Marshall all arriving, departing, and towed aircraft on the ramp
- Perform wing walker duties to protect aircraft wings during pushback and de-ice aircraft as required
- Load, unload, sort, and transfer passenger baggage, airmail, freight, and company materials using belt loaders, baggage carts, or aircraft bins
- Operate various types of ramp equipment including bag tugs, belt loaders, aircraft tow tractors, water servicing vehicles, and lavatory servicing vehicles
- Perform cabin service duties such as cleaning lavatories and cabins, restocking supplies, and servicing the aircraft
- Adhere strictly to all safety procedures and operational policies
- Report safety and security incidents promptly according to company policies
