Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Able to work in extreme conditions such as hot and cold weather and small spaces
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent GED
- Must be able to read speak and understand the English language fluently
- Basic computer proficiency for record-keeping and baggage routing
- Possession of a valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Strong teamwork collaboration and communication skills
- Flexibility to work nights weekends and holidays
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage time effectively
- Must pass an extensive post-offer pre-employment background check including fingerprinting and a criminal history record check as mandated by federal law
- Must successfully complete and pass a pre-employment drug test

Job Duties
- Safely lift load unload and transport baggage mail and cargo from the aircraft to the airport
- Guide aircraft to and from gate positions to maintain on-time connections
- Protect baggage and other equipment from damage loss and adverse weather conditions
- Operate ground equipment such as tugs cargo carts service trucks and belt loaders
- Ensure ground equipment is available in the ramp area and bag room for upcoming flights
- Prepare the cabin for customer boarding including cleaning seats seat pockets floors galleys and lavatories
- Assist with record-keeping and documentation to ensure accurate routing of baggage
- Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain safe working conditions for yourself and others
- Communicate effectively with managers and lead agents to manage daily schedules
- Report equipment issues and breakdowns to facilitate quick repairs
- Work with multiple carriers as needed and perform other duties as assigned
