Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Six months of experience in airport operations or aviation-related work
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to work in fast-paced and stressful environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to multitask
  • Capability to lift up to 15 lbs
  • Willingness to travel across campus airport and other vendor sites
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors
  • Willingness to participate in on-call duty rotation

Job Qualifications

  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines

Job Duties

  • Maintain office files including confidential materials ensuring proper organization and security
  • Prepare reports logs and documentation related to daily operations and regulatory compliance
  • Schedule appointments for office personnel and manage administrative details
  • Receive and route incoming calls record messages and respond to routine inquiries
  • Provide information regarding the location and availability of materials resources and services
  • Oversee the front desk greet visitors and guests and provide assistance as needed
  • Assist with responding to aircraft accidents incidents and emergencies including associated reporting
  • Carry out responsibilities related to the Airport Emergency Plan
  • Coordinate airport operations activities with University departments and federal and state agencies as needed
  • Support the airport leadership team with event planning clerical and administrative tasks
  • Conduct safety inspections of the airfield including runways taxiways signage fences gates and other airport infrastructure ensuring deficiencies are addressed
  • Monitor movement areas to ensure compliance with standard safety protocols and report safety violations for corrective action
  • Participate in coordination of snow removal wildlife hazard management mowing and other seasonal airfield activities
  • Participate in oncall duty rotation
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
