Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in airport operations or a similar environment preferred
  • Ability to work 24/7 shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm in high-pressure situations
  • Familiarity with safety and security protocols at airports
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to perform routine physical inspections
  • Willingness to work in a dynamic team environment

Job Duties

  • Provide 24/7 oversight of terminal and landside systems for safety, security, efficiency, and customer service under the direction of the Airport Duty Manager
  • Evaluate, report, and recommend corrective actions for any planned or unplanned terminal and landside closures or restrictions
  • Assist in coordinating activities to minimize impacts from emergencies, weather, construction, or other irregular events
  • Conduct daily inspections of the terminal and concourse to assess operations and facility conditions
  • Identify and report maintenance issues for resolution
  • Monitor airline ticket lobby areas and security checkpoints for passenger movement and compliance, providing adjustments as needed
  • Ensure concessions operators comply with lease agreements
  • Inspect terminal roadways and public parking facilities to ensure smooth vehicle and pedestrian flow and resolve issues
  • Inspect taxi hold lot for compliance with Port ordinances and airport rules
  • Provide exemplary customer service and manage relationships with customers, travelers, tenants, and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with airline and tenant representatives to facilitate passenger movement during normal and irregular operations
  • Take corrective action when construction negatively affects public spaces, coordinating with stakeholders to mitigate impacts
  • Maintain subject matter expertise and documentation in assigned operational areas
