Job Requirements
- HS graduate or equivalent
- current valid driver’s license
- ability to pass FAA required airport driver’s test within 60 days of employment
Job Qualifications
- HS graduate or equivalent or equivalent education or experience
- current valid driver’s license
- ability to pass FAA required airport driver’s test within 60 days of employment
- commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred
- AAAE Basic ASOS certification preferred
- familiarity with Federal Air Regulation Parts 36, 77, 14 CFR Part 139, and 150 series Advisory Circulars preferred
- working knowledge of general trades such as carpentry, plumbing, and electrical preferred
Job Duties
- Perform facility maintenance activities at the University Airport as required for an FAA certificated airport
- conduct airfield inspections and maintenance
- conduct building inspections and maintenance
- conduct airport grounds inspections and maintenance
- assist with vehicle inspections and maintenance
- assist with security and public safety functions
- operate various construction equipment and vehicles
- operate snow removal equipment pertaining to runways, taxiways, and airport grounds
- assist with special events at the airport
