Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in aviation management, airport operations, business, or related field
- 2 years of experience in airport operations including fiscal management and regulatory compliance, or equivalent education and experience totaling at least 4 years
- Demonstrated leadership experience in project or program management
- Valid Driver's License
- Successful completion of driving record check
- Successful completion of background check
- Ability to communicate effectively using a two-way radio in fast-paced environments
- Ability to perform physical activities including moving items up to 20 pounds
- Availability to work evening or weekend hours as needed
- Willingness to work in both office and outdoor environments with varying noise levels
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Airport Operations, Business, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in airport operations including fiscal management, technical airport operations, regulatory compliance, or field operations
- Experience leading projects or programs related to airport or business operations
- AAAE Ace Airfield Operations certification within one year of employment
- Valid Driver's License
- Successful passing of required driving record and background checks
Job Duties
- Manage, plan, organize and supervise the daily operations and maintenance programs, activities, tasks and special projects of the Airport as assigned
- Perform a wide range of complex and interdependent duties to ensure that the airport system operates efficiently and effectively for the traveling public, consistent with local, state and federal standards, specifications, practices and guidelines
- Recruit, train, recognize, develop, and evaluate the performance of assigned staff
- Recommend actions regarding hiring, promoting, coaching, mentoring, and disciplining
- Delegate, assign, prioritize, review, and ensure timely completion of duties of assigned staff
- Responsible for snow removal planning and coordination
- Provide technical and policy information to the public and meet with complainants to resolve problems related to airport functions and maintain positive relations
