Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- one year of building and grounds maintenance experience
- valid California Class C Driver's License
- ability to obtain Chemical Applicator Certificate
- ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- ability to operate groundskeeping and small power equipment
- knowledge of airport safety practices and procedures preferred

- ability to maintain accurate records
- valid California Class C Driver's License

Job Duties
- Patrol airport to inspect and inventory parked aircraft and facilities
- maintain airfield pavements, markings, lighting, signs, and wildlife control
- perform preventative maintenance using small hand and power tools and grounds equipment
- maintain airport grounds and landscaped areas including mowing, chemical applications, pruning, and irrigation systems
- conduct routine building maintenance including plumbing, electrical, mechanical repairs, custodial duties, painting, fencing, and door lubrication
- fuel aircraft using mobile fueling trucks and ensure safety and compliance of fueling operations
- perform inspections, testing, documentation of fuel quality and equipment and reorder fuel as necessary
